Now, as you probably know, you only get 1 amp with each Brainworx plugin but you do get quite a few cabs & mics to choose from.

So I bought their 'SVT3-Pro' when it was on sale and not only does it sound incredible but, on doing some A/B comparisons with IK's SVX, I discovered that I can now hear a definite digital quality to the SVX which I'd not noticed before (aliasing?). Then, recently, Brainworx gave away their Ampeg SVT-VR Classic and even though it is limited in some ways I instantly loved the way it 'felt'. I just felt like I was working with a convoluted plugin (with additional advertising) rather than with a 'real' amp. One of the main issues is that you can't hide all their extra amps, cabs, pedals etc, so when you're trying to find the sound you want you have to scroll through a bunch of stuff you haven't got. I've owned IK's Amplitube 'Ampeg SVX 1' for the past 6 years and have loved it, you get 4 different amps plus a load of cabs and a few pedals, plus the ability to choose the rooms it's placed in.but.I'd become increasingly dissatisfied with it.
